Happy Anniversary Baby

Today hubby and I celebrated our 24th Anniversary of when we met eachother. I first saw him one day while walking back from the park hanging with my cousins. He was home for the summer from college walking into the house with his mom so I thought hmm yeah that one is mine lol.

So one day he came up to my job to get something to eat and I said hello he responded with hi lol this went on for a few days until one day I was sitting on my parents porch and he was going to the store for his grandmother the long way I may add and I spoke again looking good I may add in my yellow levi jeans and matching shirt lol, He walked over and the rest is history as they say, we got married Dec 19 1987 and have four wonderful but sometimes annoying kids lol.

We have had our share of up's and downs but we are still here, A couple of years ago while celebrating this day he suprised me with presents but what I cherished the most was this poem called

'' The first day the sun rose''


It was dark for amillion years. I was born in the dark. the hospital I was born in had light,they had lights and it was still dark.

My mother took me home fom a small hospital in New Jersey in the dark. For 48 days it remained dark. Then the sun came out but I was to young to know it. So I continued to live in the dark. I went to grade school in the dark. I went to high school in the dark. When I left for college it was still dark.

The sun had been shining for over 18 years but I couldn't see it. Then one day my grandmother sent me to the store, when I left it was dark then I saw you and the clouds moved away. I could see the sun, the sun had been in my life since February 19th of my birth year but only now I could see it.

A skinny little girl in yellow pants had changed my birthday. because this is the day my life would truly begin. The 1st day I would see the sun and truly appericate what it was I love you Happy Anniversary.
